Cameron got his start at SK Form & Finish, working his way through nearly every role in the company. He started as a labourer, learned the ropes of the forming crew, became a foreman, and eventually moved into the office as an estimator. Before long, he was leading the forming department, he gained a full understanding of what it takes to run successful projects from the ground up.
When Steve retired, Cameron knew it was the right time to build something of his own - a company grounded in the same values he grew up with: honesty, hard work, and pride in every detail. CamPoint Construction was created to carry forward that legacy, offering clients dependable service, solid workmanship, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way.
Today, Cameron continues to bring those values to every project, combining his industry experience with a passion for helping people and supporting the community he calls home.
Growing Up In Concrete
Cameron has been immersed in the concrete and construction industry for as long as he can remember. Growing up, he spent his afternoons, weekends, and school breaks on job sites with his Dad, Steve - the owner of SK Form & Finish. Whether it was pulling nails, tying rebar, or learning how to use a trowel properly, Cameron was raised with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
